Job summary

• High School Grad or Equiv (Required)
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (R.T.-CERT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, DSPS-LIC
• KBMIRT - EV Accredited Issuing Body, L.R.T. - KS Accredited Issuing Body
• MRT-IEMA - EV Accredited Issuing Body
• Medical Radiologic Tech (MRT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
• Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging (R.T.(MR)ARRT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body

Responsibilities

• Ensures exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use, and that all equipment undergoes routine cleaning and safety checks.
• Notifies appropriate personnel when inventory is low.
• Educates patients and family members about MRI procedures, contrast use, and safety precautions, promoting comfort and cooperation throughout the exam.
• Positions patients accurately and comfortably using immobilization and coil placement techniques to ensure high-quality imaging.
• Prepares and administers IV contrast material following safety guidelines and monitors patients for adverse reactions.
• Performs and documents daily system quality control (QC) checks in compliance with departmental policies and regulatory requirements.

Education

Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR Cert
