Qualifications

• MRI knowledge and procedures required.
• ARMRIT certification required
• RT(MR) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Ability to read and understand medical terminology

Responsibilities

• Ensures exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use.
• Notifies appropriate personnel when inventory is low.
• Educates patients about MRI procedures, contrast use, and safety.
• Positions patients accurately and comfortably for high-quality imaging.
• Prepares and administers IV contrast material and monitors for adverse reactions.
• Performs daily QC checks and documents results in EMR/PACS.
• Follows procedures for patient identification and informed consent.
• Operates MRI equipment safely and adheres to safety standards.
• Maintains accurate documentation in EMR and PACS.
• Performs MRI exams per physician orders and protocols.
• Screens patients for contraindications and safety compliance.
• Other duties as assigned.
