Job summary

AdventHealth in Lenexa, KS, is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI imaging procedures and assist in patient care. The role includes positioning patients, preparing contrast material, and ensuring sterile, safe exam rooms and equipment.

The position requires strong communication and safety awareness. Responsibilities include educating patients, following departmental policies, and maintaining licensure while adhering to ALARA principles.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging procedures to assist diagnosis and treatment.
• Position, move and assist patients for accurate imaging.
• Adhere to MRI safety guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and families about MRI procedures and contrast use.
• Prepare and administer IV contrast and monitor for adverse reactions.
