Job summary

Qualifications

• ARRT MR certification required; MRI registry preferred.
• BLS: Basic Life Support required.
• Two years MRI experience preferred; ARRT MRI within two years of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Prepare scan room and patient for examination.
• Draw up IV contrast and administer oral contrast as indicated; perform warm-up procedures and document data.
• Transport patient, position for exam, apply contrast, perform scan with correct protocols and image order.
• Ensure proper orientation markings and accurate entry of images.
• Prepare records for radiologist and ensure complete clinical information and image order.
