McLaren Health Care in Lansing, MI seeks a MRI Technologist to perform routine and complex MRI procedures, ensuring high-quality images and adherence to policies. This full-time position requires ARRT certification and AMA-approved radiology education, plus strong patient communication.

You will operate and maintain MRI equipment, ensure radiation safety, document results, and collaborate with the radiology team. Schedule is 7a-3:30p with on-call and weekend duties.

Competenze

• Graduation from an AMA-approved school of radiology technology.
• Advanced ARRT Certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
• Current BLS certification.

Mansioni

• Specializes in performing routine and complex MRI procedures.
• Obtains patient history, explains procedures, and addresses concerns to comfort patients.
• Operates and maintains all MRI equipment.
• Positions patients to capture requested images.
• Identifies and prepares medications within technologist scope as prescribed.
• Performs quality assurance and radiation safety practices.
• Maintains documentation/logs/records.
• Maintains supply of consumables and performs equipment checks.
• May assist other radiology areas as assigned.
• Performs other duties as required.
