St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking an MRI Technologist for weekend shifts in Orwigsburg, PA. The role performs MRI examinations under supervision, ensuring quality imaging and patient safety.

Responsibilities include communicating findings to radiologists, handling contrast administration, and maintaining documentation and PACS accuracy. ARRT/ARMRIT credentials and CPR certification are required, with registry advancement within a year.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an ARRT recognized education program, or ARRT or ARMRIT registered, or ARRT or ARMRIT registry eligible.
• Advanced MRI registry required within 1 year of hire.
• Two (2) years experience as a staff technologist preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations on patients following department procedures under direction.
• Communicate clinical observations to radiologists and present patient history as documented.
• Demonstrate competency in venipuncture for contrast administration.
• Ensure the accuracy of patient data and ensure correct patient is scanned; verify information before sending to PACS.
• Maintain responsibility for professional development through in-services and continuing education.
• Contribute to Radiology Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs.
