Job summary

Banner Health seeks an experienced MRI Technologist for the University Medical Center South Tucson campus. The role focuses on operating MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images while ensuring patient comfort and safety. You will collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to support accurate diagnoses and high-quality care.

Schedule is Friday to Sunday 7AM–7PM with weekend shift differential. Requires ARRT MRI certification, state licensure as applicable, and BLS.

Qualifications

• ARRT MRI certification and/or modality licensure is required.
• State licensure as applicable in Arizona.
• Advance MRI accreditation within 18 months of hire.
• Current BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures by following orders and department policies.
• Educate patients and families about the procedures and safety.
• Produce high-quality images and maintain accurate documentation.
• Demonstrate competence in safety and equipment QC to ensure reliable imaging.
• Maintain confidentiality and support efficient workflow in the department.
