Job summary

Banner Health is seeking an MRI Technologist in Tucson, AZ, to operate MRI equipment and produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient comfort and safety. You will collaborate with radiologists and health care teams to support accurate diagnoses in a team-oriented environment.

The role requires ARRT MRI certification (or licensure) with completion within 18 months, and BLS certification is required. Weekend shifts, call, and holidays are part of the schedule at BUMC South Tucson.

Qualifications

• ARRT MRI certification and state licensure as applicable; certification in MRI within 18 months of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures and expected outcomes.
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to support accurate diagnoses.
• Maintain equipment quality control and safe patient environment.
