North Okaloosa Medical Center is seeking an MRI Technologist I to work weekends with the option to rotate weekdays. This role supports diagnostic imaging, emphasizes patient safety, and provides high-quality scans under supervision.

Responsibilities include operating MRI equipment, preparing patients, adhering to safety protocols, and collaborating with Radiology staff to ensure accurate imaging and timely results.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program.
• ARRT or ARMRIT certification required or eligible within 12 months of hire.
• Proficient in operating MRI equipment and related software.
• Strong communication and patient-care skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to follow safety protocols.
• Ability to assess patient needs and provide compassionate care.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and image processing.

Aufgaben

• Performs routine MRI procedures per physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Educates and prepares patients for MRI exams, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Operates MRI equipment and maintains imaging quality and safety standards.
• Reviews patient history and contraindications prior to scans.
• Maintains MRI supply inventory and equipment readiness.
• Collaborates with radiologists and healthcare team to optimize imaging results.
