Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking Nurse Practitioners to join as independent contractors providing services to U.S. military service members in Hawaii.

Work is primarily on weekends with occasional weekday shifts as needed under the Reserve Health Readiness Program, with opportunities to work at multiple locations, including remote military installations. Candidates should hold an active NP license in Hawaii, CPR/BLS, and have experience in primary, urgent, or occupational health.

Qualifications

• Active NP license in Hawaii and CPR/BLS certification are required.
• Experience in Primary/Urget/Occupational health settings is preferred.
• Experience with mobile medical services is a plus.
• Knowledge of military health systems, protocols, and terminology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
• Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
• Identify any concerns needing immediate attention, including Behavioral Health.
• Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member's medical record.
