Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking Nurse Practitioners to partner as independent contractors to provide services to military service members. The role primarily requires weekend work with some weekday shifts in Minnesota, including travel to remote military installations.

Responsibilities include supporting Physical Health Assessments, reviewing medical histories, interviewing personnel, and documenting readiness in our proprietary system.

Qualifications

• Active NP license in the state of Minnesota.
• CPR/BLS Certification required.
• Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health preferred.
• Experience with mobile medical services preferred.
• Knowledge of military systems, protocols, and terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
• Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
• Identify any concerns needing immediate attention, including Behavioral Health.
• Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member’s medical record.
