Job summary

Inspirations of Mesa is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician to administer and supervise medications, support residents with daily living activities, and coordinate wellness staffing. This role requires Med Tech experience and weekend availability within a caring, team-oriented community.

Qualifications

• Must maintain certification in the state where you work.
• Satisfactory completion of state-required education/certificates/testing related to medication aides.
• Ability to read, write, and speak in English.
• Be in good physical health; may lift up to 40 pounds.
• Background check and drug testing required.
• Experience in Assisted Living preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers or assists with administration of medications per physician orders on MAR.
• Documents medications on MAR according to policy and checks accuracy before end of shift.
• Maintains security of medication cart and conducts narcotic counts per policy.
• Provides assistance with activities of daily living and mobility as needed.
• Reports changes in residents' conditions to Wellness Director or charge nurse.
• Responds to emergencies promptly and follows safety rules.
