Job summary

Ontic is seeking a Material Handler for its Creedmoor, NC facility. You will report to the Warehouse Supervisor and work weekends (Fri–Sun), 6:00 AM–6:00 PM, handling receiving, storage, and movement of materials with ERP systems.

Requires a high school diploma, 2 years stockroom experience, and ability to lift 20–50 lbs. Proficiency in Excel/Outlook/Word and ERP inventory tools is expected. Onsite role with comprehensive benefits and overtime potential.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Two years of stockroom and inventory experience in manufacturing.
Willing to work overtime and occasional weekends.
Proficient with Excel, Outlook, and Word.
Strong understanding of inventory management principles.
Able to safely lift 20–50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

Verify and receive materials into the stockroom, ensuring accuracy and adherence to procedures.
Conduct daily cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.
Manage material movement within the stockroom and plant, including loading, unloading, and transporting materials using various equipment.
Work with a team to maintain an efficient and accurate inventory process.
Store and organize materials with proper labeling and traceability.
Perform kitting activities, assembling components per instructions.
Fill orders accurately and maintain records of transactions.
Enter inventory data into the ERP system and maintain stock records.
