Job summary

Ontic is a leading global aerospace OEM. The Material Handler reports to the Warehouse Supervisor with an onsite schedule in Chatsworth, CA, supporting material movement and inventory accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a high school diploma and two years of stockroom experience in manufacturing, with willingness to work overtime and weekends. Proficiency in ERP and MS Office is expected, along with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years of stockroom and inventory experience in manufacturing.
• Must be willing to work overtime and occasional weekends.
• Proficient in ERP inventory management software and data entry tools.
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk frequently.

Responsibilities

• Verify and receive materials into the stockroom with accuracy.
• Conduct daily cycle counts to verify inventory and identify discrepancies.
• Move materials within stockroom and plant using equipment.
• Maintain efficient inventory processes and proper labeling/traceability.
• Perform kitting and assemble components as instructed.
• Fill orders accurately and record transactions.
• Enter inventory data into ERP system and maintain stock records.
• Process perpetual inventory adjustments when needed.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and reconcile them.
• Support additional duties as assigned.
