Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in mammography for the Newton-Wellesley Hospital site. The role requires a minimum of a high school diploma with an associate’s degree preferred, and 2–3 years’ experience.

On Saturdays, 7am to 1pm, technicians will operate equipment, position patients, and ensure image quality in a fast-paced setting. Salary ranges from $45.00 to $47.79 per hour with free parking and onsite work location in Newton, MA.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s Degree preferred.
• Licenses: RT(R) and RT(M) credentials preferred; BLS recommended.
• Experience: 2–3 years in mammography and radiologic imaging.
• Onsite role with regular weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Operate mammography equipment and related devices.
• Position patients and ensure proper exposure factors.
• Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and obtain additional views as needed.
• Explain procedures and maintain aseptic technique when applicable.
• Adhere to safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
