Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Mammography Technologist for the Newton-Wellesley Hospital site. The role is onsite with part-time hours and a seven- hour weekly schedule.

Candidates must be licensed by the MA Radiation Control Board, registered with ARRT (M), CPR certified, and ACS certified in BSE preferred. The position offers opportunities to work within a highly experienced team of mammographers, providing quality diagnostic imaging and patient education in a supportive hospital setting

Qualifications

• Licensed by MA Radiation Control Board.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (Radiology).
• CPR Certified; ARRT (M) preferred/required; ACS in BSE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic mammography procedures under the direction of a physician and supervisor.
• Operate imaging equipment to produce quality diagnostic images for patients from adolescent to geriatric.
• Instruct patients in breast self-examination (BSE) and provide patient education as needed.
• Adhere to federal, state, local, and hospital policies and procedures; maintain safety and documentation standards.
