Job summary

Kato Cable LLC in Minnesota is seeking a Weekend Maintenance Technician to apply your industrial maintenance know-how Friday through Sunday, 6:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m. You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to keep production moving.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic Microsoft Office and general computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all manufacturing equipment and facilities.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests to minimise downtime.
• Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and supplies.
• Develop and maintain strong communication lines between Maintenance, Production, Engineering and Management.
• Assist with optimization of equipment efficiency.
• Support set-up/installation of new equipment.
• Record maintenance work orders in CMMS system.
• Improve and maintain documented maintenance program in accordance with ISO guidelines.
• Perform projects as needed.
• Perform production set-ups as needed.
• Submit purchase orders as needed.
