Job summary

Lake Cable, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our manufacturing lines running at peak capacity. You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, dismantle and repair machinery, and maintain electrical panels in a fast-paced plant environment.

We value hands-on expertise with 120V/240V/480V three-phase systems, reading schematics, and a proactive approach. Over-time may be required and opportunities for growth are strong within our Midwest facilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years as Maintenance/Electrical Technician maintaining and repairing mechanical and electrical problems.
• Knowledge of OSHA and EPA requirements (Lock Out/Tag Out, HMIS/MSDS, waste disposal).
• Ability to read maintenance manuals, diagrams and blueprints.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Dismantle, rebuild and reassemble machinery using hand and power tools.
• Install wiring of electronic devices and electrical panels per drawings.
• Install new and used equipment; handle water and electrical plumbing.
• Follow electrical drawings/prints and ISO documentation as required.
• Perform preventive maintenance and observe equipment for malfunctions.
• Complete yearly RCRA Hazardous Waste and DOT Initial Training/Annual Review.
