Job summary

Viega LLC is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician in Kansas to perform basic installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and facilities under supervision. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, testing, and recording work using SAP Plant Maintenance.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and up to 4 years of relevant experience, with strong troubleshooting and reading of manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–4 years building and mechanical equipment maintenance experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend manuals, blueprints and schematics.
• Willingness to work under supervision and follow standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and building systems per checklists and manuals.
• Monitor plant systems and ensure equipment operates per manufacturer specs.
• Assist with dismantling and replacing parts using precision tools and measuring instruments.
• Record hours and work orders in SAP Plant Maintenance.
• Attend meetings and perform additional duties as required.
