Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Edgerton, KS. You will troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems on production machinery, and prepare equipment for scheduled runs while performing preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

The role requires 3-5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in manufacturing, a High School Diploma or GED, and ability to read manuals and safely use tools and meters.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read equipment manuals, follow work orders, and safely utilize hand/power tools, electrical meters, and material handling equipment.
• Preferred knowledge: electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, or Servos.
• Physical capabilities: lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems on production machinery.
• Set up machinery for scheduled runs and perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime.
• Provide rapid emergency repairs during production and perform facility maintenance (plumbing/carpentry).
• Collaborate with Regulatory Compliance to maintain food safety and plant sanitation standards.
