Job summary

Viega Holding GmbH & Co. KG is looking for a Maintenance Technician I for weekend shifts in McPherson, KS. The technician will perform and assist in the maintenance of machinery and equipment, following specifications and guidelines. The role requires basic experience in building and mechanical equipment maintenance.

This is an entry-level position offering a compensation range of $22.00 to $28.00 per hour based on experience. The candidate will enjoy additional benefits including paid time off and a 401(k) retirement plan.

Qualifications

• 0-4 years of building and mechanical equipment maintenance and repair experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose facility and machine problems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on building mechanical and manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair machines and equipment.
• Conduct periodic inspections and maintain equipment serviceability.

Skills

Knowledge of computer programs and applications

Ability to communicate verbally and in writing

Strong troubleshooting skills using test instruments

Strong organizational skills

Ability to prioritize work schedule

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent
