Job summary

Marvin is seeking a Weekend Maintenance Technician II responsible for advanced maintenance on production machines, troubleshooting, and performing repairs with minimal supervision. The role emphasizes documentation in EAM, safety, and hands-on machining, welding, and fabrication skills.

Ideal candidates have at least three years of maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to obtain forklift and aerial lift licenses.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years of related maintenance experience or technical training.
• Ability to obtain forklift and aerial lift licenses.
• Basic welding and fabrication skills; machining experience with mill/lathe preferred.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Asset Management software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Document repairs and preventive maintenance using the plant's work order system (EAM).
• Perform regular inspections and repairs on production equipment; assist in machine repairs and train others.
• Set up new equipment; troubleshoot with specialty tools and decide repair methods.
• Interpret blueprints and part drawings for maintenance tasks.
• Demonstrate welding and fabrication techniques; apply machinist skills with a vertical mill and lathe.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment; provide status updates to supervisors.
• Follow safety protocols; report hazards and participate in safety training.
