Job summary

Old-Castle-Building-Envelop in Syracuse, NY is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for the weekend shift to support our industrial facility. The role focuses on safe operation, preventive maintenance, and quick repairs to keep production moving.

You’ll work with a team to troubleshoot equipment, read schematics, and coordinate with OEMs for complex repairs. Weekend coverage is core, with opportunities for growth as you contribute to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic experience.
Able to read 24VDC control circuits and technical drawings.
Experience performing PMs on complex industrial systems.

Responsibilities

Follow Safety & Company Policies - Adhere to procedures including electrical safety, lockout/tagout, hot work, and inspections.
Operate & Repair Equipment - Learn to operate and repair furnaces, sealant machines, forklifts, cranes, and production machinery; coordinate with OEMs for complex repairs.
Support Preventive Maintenance (PM) - Execute PMs on schedule; assist plant maintenance; weekend PM coverage is core.
Maintain Clean & Safe Work Areas - Keep tools secure and workspaces organized and safe.
Assist Production & Drive Improvements - Interpret blueprints, troubleshoot equipment, and suggest process improvements.
