Job summary

The role emphasizes maximizing uptime, yield, and performance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You’ll troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and quality issues, read schematics, perform preventive maintenance, manage parts inventory, and participate in safety programs while upholding OSHA

Qualifications

• 5+ years in heavy manufacturing maintenance.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools, precision measuring devices, and technical drawings.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, including familiarity with electrical systems and PLCs.
• Effective communication in English; able to perform basic math calculations.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem solving in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.
• Able to pass job-related testing, employment physical, and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance on production equipment following safety procedures.
• Inspect guards and safety devices and ensure equipment is safe before returning to service.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and quality-related issues to minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals to diagnose issues.
• Complete breakdown repairs, preventive maintenance, and changeovers for production goals.
• Monitor parts and tools inventory and coordinate ordering and receipt verification.
• Document inspections, repairs, and equipment status in CMMS.
• Operate cranes/hoists per safety requirements; fabricate repair parts when needed.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and safety culture.
