Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC is seeking an Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time weekend shift in Murfreesboro, TN. Schedule: Saturday and Sunday, 6am–10pm onsite. Compensation: $31.33/hr.

Responsibilities include providing holistic nursing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, supporting the RN, administering medications, and coordinating routine medical appointments. Requires an active LPN license and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited licensed nurse program.
• Current nursing license with no restrictions to practice nursing.
• Current CPR Certification or eligibility to obtain certification.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with Interdisciplinary Team Members, as well as the people supported and their families.
• Must be able to work independently, be organized, and possess the ability to prioritize work tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• Assist the Registered Nurse in delivering quality nursing services to persons supported
• Provide health related training to unlicensed personnel
• Administer medications and treatments or assist the person supported with medication administration
• Assist with ensuring preventative and routine medical appointments are scheduled
• Conduct medication closest assessments
• Collect health related data
• Observe for and report any abnormal health related findings to the physician
• Communicate with physicians, pharmacies, medical suppliers, and the Interdisciplinary Team
• Advocate for the people supported and assist with developing community supports to promote optimal health for the people supported
