Job summary

Delhi-Rehabilitation-and-Nursing-Cente is seeking an LPN for overnight full-time shifts in Town of Delhi. The role features 12-hour night shifts (7:00pm–7:00am), every other weekend, and a 3-days-per-week schedule.

New pay starts at $35/hr with higher rates for evenings and night differential; a $5,000 sign-on bonus applies for FT hires over two years. Benefits include a strong package and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• LPN license required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an LPN.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe resident care, completing assigned treatments and procedures per standards and policies.
• Maintains awareness of updated standards and incorporates them into nursing practice.
• Communicates resident information and plan of care before breaks, during transfer, and at shift report.
• Administers medications accurately according to the five rights and documents them.
• Performs treatments using sterile or clean technique and manages external feedings as needed.
• Completes care-related activities within scheduled shifts and cooperates with reassignments for resident care.

• Provides safe resident care, demonstrating knowledge and competency in completing assigned treatments and procedures according to established standards and policies. Maintains awareness of new updates standards and incorporates them into his/her nursing practice through out the continuum of care.
• Participates in the improvement process of quality resident care.
• Incorporates age-specific needs, provision of care, procedures, and treatments.
• Communicates pertinent resident information and plan of care before breaks, during transfer, and at shift report.
• Accurately administers medications according to the five rights of medication administration and documentation of same.
• Accurately performs treatments utilizing sterile or clean technique.
• Accurately administers external feedings.
• Completes resident care-related activities within scheduled shift time periods.
• Cooperates with reassignments made in the interest of resident care.
• Reports resident care problems and possible solutions to the appropriate nursing management personnel.
• Delegates resident care problems and possible solutions to the appropriate nursing management personnel..
