Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Logistics Operations Coordinator for a weekend shift (Thu-Sun, 8:00am-6:00pm) to coordinate truck, rail, and international shipments. The role reports to the logistics team and requires strong computer skills, including MS Outlook and Excel, and experience with warehousing and general labor tasks.

The position offers hourly pay with a shift premium and eligibility for attendance bonuses.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year warehouse or logistics experience, preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Coordinate export/import shipments
• Establish and coordinate schedules with carriers
• Track and trace all shipments
• Update Transportation Management System (SAP)
• Prepare daily and weekly reports
• Obtain data to assist in analysis on performance trends
• Proactively identify problems to management
• Answer and resolve basic billing questions when needed
• Prepare client invoice packets
• Confirm rates with carriers
