Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Cowpens, SC, is seeking a Logistics Operations Coordinator to manage shipments and support customers. You will coordinate trucking, rail, and international flows, communicate with shippers and carriers, and help resolve issues in order management.

The role runs on 2nd shift (3:00pm–11:00pm) with benefits and opportunities for growth. Ideal candidates have 6 months to 1 year of logistics or warehouse experience, strong MS Outlook and Excel skills, and the ability to work both

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year warehouse or logistics experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work both in a team and independently.

Shift:

2ndShift: Monday -; Friday 3:00pm-11:00pm

Pay:

$20.50 per hour plus $1.00 shift premium

Additional Incentives

Role Purpose

Assist in coordinating truck, rail, and international shipments. Provide communication to both shippers and carriers. Assist in coordinating and providing problem-solving and order management for customers.

Key Accountabilities

• Assist in coordination of export/import shipments.
• Establish and coordinate schedule with carrier and tender shipments.
• Track and trace all shipments.
• Update and maintain Transportation Management System(s) - SAP.
• Prepare and publish daily, weekly reports.
• Obtain data to assist in analysis on performance trends.
• Proactively identify problems to management.
• Answer and resolve basic billing questions when needed.
• Prepare client invoice packets
• Confirm rates with carriers.

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
• 6 months - 1 year warehouse or logistics experience, preferred
• Communication and customer service skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work as part of a team and individually
