Qualifications

• Experience in Direct Support Professional (DSP) work is beneficial.
• Experience in behavioral or emotional support is advantageous.
• Familiarity with life coaching or mentoring is a plus.
• Experience supporting individuals with autism or intellectual/developmental disabilities is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Provide supportive companionship and guidance during weekend activities.
• Assist with community engagement and recreational outings.
• Support independence, decision-making, and personal growth.
• Use positive support strategies and encouraging communication.
• Help build daily living, social, and coping skills through coaching and modeling.
• Maintain documentation and communicate appropriately with the support team.
