Job summary

Heritage Oaks is seeking a Part Time Life Enrichment Coordinator for weekend coverage. Starting pay is $13.10 per hour with weekly pay and a full benefits package. The role supports the Director of Life Enrichment Programs and engages residents through activities and volunteer coordination in a non-profit care setting.

Responsibilities include developing calendars, participating in IDT meetings, and promoting community involvement, while adhering to safety, privacy, and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in a social or recreation program within the last five years.
• One year of experience in a skilled nursing or similar care setting.
• GHCA Activity Director State Approved 36-Hour Certification; certification within first year preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and evaluation of life enrichment programs.
• Maintain life enrichment calendars reflecting patient needs.
• Promote ongoing delivery of programs during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Develop and maintain a volunteer program including screening and training.
• Participate in Interdisciplinary Team meetings and resident care conferences.
• Assist with coordination and delivery of life enrichment activities.
• Establish and maintain inter-departmental communication.
• Comply with the departmental financial plan.
• Maintain supplies and equipment for activities.
• Operate within Life Enrichment guidelines.
• Promote community engagement initiatives.
• Perform other duties as needed.
