Job summary

Qualifications

• Serv-Safe certified or willing to complete certification within 60 days of hire.
• Ability to read, follow recipes and menus accurately.
• Knowledge of sanitation and food safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present menu items according to recipes.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety protocols.
• Monitor temperatures and ensure proper cooling, storage and dating of food.
• Supervise dietary staff in absence of Dining Services Director.
• Attend in-service trainings and staff meetings.
• Support flexibility for weekend/evening shifts and holidays.
