Job summary

Resort Lifestyle Communities in Tallahassee, FL seeks a Relief Kitchen Helper to create a great dining experience for residents. You will prepare, stock, and maintain a fresh salad bar and support the dining room by providing friendly service and keeping tables clean.

You will wash and sanitize tableware, assist in daily food preparation, and help maintain a safe kitchen environment. 18+ and weekend availability required; food handler permits within two weeks are expected.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to read, speak and understand basic English.
• No prior culinary experience required.
• Able to obtain food handler permits within two weeks of start date.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dish machine and monitor temperatures to ensure sanitization.
• Wash, store and handle all tableware and kitchenware; keep dish room organized.
• Clean food prep areas and assist in dining room by bussing tables and serving water.
• Safely use ovens, steamers, grills and kitchen tools to support daily prep.
• Listen and respond politely to food comments and report concerns to leadership.
• Perform support tasks including trash removal.
