Job summary

Utz Hanover is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk for the Weekend Day shift (Friday–Sunday, 5:30 AM–5:30 PM) at the Hanover, PA facility. You will maintain accurate inventory records, perform daily cycle counts, and support audits to ensure products are in the right place and condition.

You will work independently within a collaborative team, using D365 and Microsoft Office to verify SKUs, locations, and discrepancies, while helping drive accurate reporting and safe, organized operations.

Qualifications

• Weekend schedule Fri-Sun 5:30 AM-5:30 PM.
• Experience in inventory control, warehousing, or shipping/receiving preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to verify inventory accurately.
• Basic computer skills; experience with inventory systems and D365 a plus.
• Ability to identify discrepancies and communicate findings clearly.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills; independent and team-friendly.
• Able to operate or learn forklift and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and locations.
• Research and document discrepancies between system and physical counts.
• Assist with unloading trailers and route incoming product appropriately.
• Review SKUs, quantities, quality, and codes to meet standards.
• Sort product into categories: damaged, stale, good stock, etc.
• Audit damage sheets weekly and ensure timely inventory adjustments.
• Run Open RMA reports in D365 and share with managers as needed.
• Conduct weekly trailer, TRACK, and RAF location audits for accuracy.
• Investigate variances with leadership and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of transactions and movements in systems.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and attention to detail in inventory.
• Complete special projects and inventory-related tasks as assigned.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and report safety or quality concerns.
