Job summary

Utz Quality Foods, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk for the Weekend Day shift at the Hanover Logistics Team, working Friday to Sunday, 5:30 AM–5:30 PM in Hanover, PA.

The role focuses on maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting cycle counts, and supporting audits to ensure products are in the right place, on time and in good condition. The position emphasizes independence, accuracy, and collaboration with warehouse leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory control, warehousing, distribution, or related environment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to count, verify, and document inventory.
• Basic computer skills; experience with Microsoft Office and inventory or warehouse management systems; D365 is a plus.
• Ability to identify and investigate inventory discrepancies and communicate findings.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating with leadership.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to safely operate or learn to operate warehouse equipment, including forklift and standing/walking for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and validate SKUs and locations.
• Research, document, and communicate discrepancies between system records and physical counts.
• Assist with unloading trailers and route incoming product to correct locations.
• Review and verify SKUs, quantities, quality, and code dates.
• Inspect and sort products into categories (damaged, stale, outlet, good stock).
• Review and audit damage sheets weekly to ensure accurate adjustments.
• Run Open RMA reports in D365 and distribute as needed to managers.
• Conduct weekly audits of trailers, TRACK and RAF locations to verify accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Investigate inventory variances with warehouse leadership to determine causes and corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and document transactions and movements.
• Promote teamwork and accountability in the inventory process.
• Complete special projects, reports, and other duties as assigned.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and report safety or quality concerns.
