Job summary

Central City Concern in Portland, OR is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the 16th and Burnside Recovery Center to provide humane, high‑quality medical and medication care within a residential treatment setting.

The RN will assess, coordinate with a multidisciplinary team, administer medications, monitor vitals, and ensure compliance with licensure, HIPAA, and union requirements. A BSN is preferred; Oregon RN license required. Weekend schedule: Sat–Sun 9am‑2pm.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with a valid Oregon License.
• Maintains licensure in good standing.
• BSN preferred.
• Experience in behavioral health services preferred.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen, TB test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Complete nursing assessment at admission and develop a health plan.
• Triage medical issues and determine appropriate care locations.
• Oversee medication administration, storage, disposal and documentation.
• Take vital signs and monitor weight, respiration, pulse and BP as needed.
• Coordinate with medical team for interventions and with pharmacies for meds.
