Qualifications

• Active RN license and APRN license in state(s) of practice.
• Active national board certification in area of clinical practice and populations served.
• Master’s Degree in Nursing required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive history and physical examinations for hospitalized pediatric cardiology patients.
• Evaluate and manage congenital and acquired cardiac conditions.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans with attending physicians.
• Monitor clinical progress and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Coordinate care with nursing staff, consultants, therapists, and community providers.
• Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
• Document encounters in the EMR and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
