Job summary

Advocate Masonic Hospital in Chicago seeks an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join our Ambulatory Cardiology team, developing a comprehensive outpatient cardiology practice within a high-acuity program.

The APP will manage pre-operative evaluations, post-hospital discharges, post-procedural follow-ups, and ongoing ambulatory care, with a stable weekday schedule and strong clinical support for long-term growth in cardiology.

Qualifications

• Active RN and APRN/APRN-FPA/APNP licenses in state(s) of practice.
• Active national board certification in area of clinical practice.
• Master’s degree in nursing or physician studies.
• DEA registration prior to hire; Illinois CS license if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage treatment plans for cardiology patients.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic studies and prescribe therapies.
• Coordinate care across inpatient and outpatient settings with the cardiology team.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, procedures, and medications.
• Maintain thorough EMR documentation and ensure compliant coding and billing.
