Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle is seeking a Registered Nurse for infusion on weekends (Sat and Sun, 7:45 am–6:15 pm). Initial onboarding may require weekday hours for up to six weeks. Provides patient-centered care across infusion therapies, education, and coordination with the care team.

The role emphasizes assessment, planning, implementation, and ongoing evaluation in a leading cancer care setting, with emphasis on safety and evidence-based practice.

Qualificações

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Current Washington RN license (or multistate license with WA as residence within 60 days) required.
• BSN preferred; oncology experience helpful; BLS required every two years.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patients’ physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs.
• Develop plan of care based on disease, symptoms, and response to treatment.
• Educate patients and families on disease processes, treatment, side effects, and symptom management.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
• Refer to social work, home health care, nutrition, and other resources as needed.
• Implement, evaluate, and modify the plan of care.
• Incorporate research and evidence into clinical practice.
