Job summary

Riviana Foods Inc. in Carlisle, AR, is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Weekends) to keep milling and parboiling equipment running safely and efficiently.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyors, pumps, electrical panels, and related systems, and enter work orders to track activity. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of industrial maintenance experience, plus strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of industrial maintenance preferred.
• Knowledge of motor controls, sensors and gearboxes.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Understand industrial maintenance principles and safety practices.
• Able to read blueprints, electrical schematics and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, maintain and repair milling and parboiling equipment.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on conveyors, pumps, panels and processing systems.
• Clean, lubricate and adjust parts and equipment; diagnose faults.
• Input and track maintenance work orders; communicate findings to team.
• Adhere to GMP, HACCP, OSHA and company policies.
