Job summary
Riviana Foods Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to maintain and repair industrial milling and parboiling equipment in our Kentucky facility.
You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance on motors, control panels and conveyors, ensuring safe and efficient operation in line with daily plans. Qualified candidates have a High school diploma or GED and 1+ years of industrial maintenance experience, with strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills and the ability to read
Qualifications
- Requires basic understanding of industrial maintenance.
- Strong troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical faults.
- Ability to read blueprints and equipment manuals.
Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, maintain and repair milling and parboiling equipment.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical control panels, conveyors, pumps, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Clean, lubricate and adjust parts and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electrical/mechanical faults in equipment.
- Input and retrieve maintenance work orders in a timely manner.
- Communicate observations regarding equipment performance to maintenance, operations and management.
- Adhere to GMP, HACCP, OSHA and company policies.
