Job summary

Georgia-Pacific LLC is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician (Electrical & Mechanical) for the Green Bay Packerland facility. This role supports equipment reliability through electrical and mechanical maintenance on manufacturing equipment on a compressed 36-hour weekend schedule (Fri–Sun, 6:30 AM–6:30 PM).

The position offers a $5,000 retention bonus after 12 months and requires experience with electrical systems, PLCs, drives, and precision maintenance.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree in electro-mechanical technology, industrial maintenance, or a related field; or completion of an apprenticeship program.
• Electrical and/or mechanical maintenance experience in industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with electrical circuits, PLCs, AC/DC drives, and servo controls.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical systems up to 480V 3-phase.
• Repair motors, drives, and control circuits; use ladder logic and schematics to identify issues.
• Perform preventive, planned, and corrective maintenance on equipment.
• Maintain safety and environmental policies and follow site procedures.
• Provide vacation coverage for weekend maintenance personnel as needed.
