Job summary
Happy to Help Caregiving is hiring Weekend Caregivers to provide non-medical in-home care for clients in the Blackfoot area. You will offer companionship, mobility support, meal assistance, and transportation as part of a one-on-one care plan in clients' homes.
No prior caregiving experience is required; training is provided and reliability, compassion, and a willingness to learn are valued. Role offers weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) with flexible hours, part-time and full-time
Qualifications
- Compassionate, dependable and committed to providing exceptional care.
- Ability to follow written care plans and verbal instructions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
- Prepare meals and encourage hydration.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
- Provide medication reminders (no handling).
- Assist with mobility and transfers as needed.
- Provide transportation for appointments and errands.
- Offer respite care to family caregivers.
- Document services and report changes to the office.
- Support client independence, routines, and preferences.
