Job summary

Happy to Help Caregiving in Blackfoot, ID, seeks weekend In-Home Caregivers to provide non-medical care to seniors, veterans, and individuals in their own homes. You\u2019ll build trusted, one-on-one relationships while following individualized care plans to keep clients safe, comfortable, and independent.

No prior caregiving experience is required; we provide training. Weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) with flexible hours, part-time or full-time weekend opportunities, and a supportive team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver\'s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Kind, patient, and professional attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow written care plans and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Prepare meals, snacks, and encourage hydration.
• Perform light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, change linens, tidy spaces).
• Provide medication reminders (no handling or administering medications).
• Assist with mobility, transfers, repositioning, walkers, and wheelchairs.
• Provide transportation for appointments, errands, shopping, and outings.
• Offer respite care to allow family caregivers a break.
• Document services and report changes or concerns to the office.
• Support client independence, routines, dignity, and preferences.

What You'll Do

Depending on each client's individualized care plan, responsibilities may include:
