Job summary

Always Best Care of Greater Bristol is seeking Caregivers for weekend shifts in Bristol, CT. Shifts range from 4-12 hours on Saturdays and Sundays. Applicants must have at least three years of experience as a Non-Medical Caregiver and ideally have weekend experience.

Reports to Staffing / Care Coordinator and will assist with daily routines, transportation, and care planning. Join Always Best Care of Greater Bristol to provide compassionate in-home care, coordinate with clients, and support

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Non-Medical Caregiver required.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license, proof of insurance and reliable transportation.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Must have Cell Phone / Tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provides daily routine care such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
• Responsible for house maintenance when applicable.
• Answer phone calls for clients when necessary.
• Converses with patients to provide assurance.
• Observes Universal Precautions.
• Provides patient transportation to doctor appointments, outside activities and shopping.
• Provides patient laundry and linen changes.
• Light housekeeping.
• Provides medication reminders.
• Meal preparation and clean up.
