Always Best Care of Greater Bristol is seeking a Homemaker Companion Caregiver in Avon, CT. The Non-Medical Caregiver will provide companionship, daily routine care, and light housekeeping to seniors in a compassionate, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Non-Medical Caregiver
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Must have Cell Phone/ Tablet

Responsibilities

• Provides daily routine care such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
• Responsible for house maintenance when applicable
• Answers phone calls for clients when necessary
• Conversations with patients to provide assurance
• Observes Universal Precautions
• Provides patient transportation to doctor appointments, outside activities, and shopping
• Provides patient laundry and linen changes
• Light housekeeping
• Provides medication reminders
• Meal preparation and clean up
