Job summary

Hampton Inn Easley SC is seeking a part-time Maintenance Associate for Saturday and Sunday shifts. You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs to ensure hotel standards are met, while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for guests.

The role requires basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, plus a high school diploma and reliable attendance. Experience in a branded hotel is preferred and professionalism is essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a branded, quality hotel preferred.
• Working knowledge of electricity, AC, and plumbing along with a working knowledge of preventative maintenance.
• High School diploma or equivalent of same. Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Must display professionalism and have characteristics of honesty and trustworthiness
• Must have excellent attendance and punctuality

Responsibilities

• Maintain facility using consistent preventative maintenance guidelines.
• Perform tasks: preventative maintenance, repairs, and complete documentation.
• Maintains rooms in optimal operating condition by performing repairs as needed.
• Maintains operating equipment in working condition by performing routine equipment checks and repairs.
• Demonstrates familiarity with life safety systems and takes corrective action on issues.
• Handles master set of keys in accordance with company policy for security.
• Reports hazards or injuries and takes immediate action to correct them.
• Maintains cleanliness of work area and informs supervisor of issues.
• Performs property-specific tasks as requested by management.
