Job summary

Residence Inn Greenville is seeking a highly motivated, hands-on Part-Time Maintenance Technician to keep our hotel facilities and equipment running smoothly. You’ll work independently yet be part of a cohesive team, using your problem solving and technical skills to address guest needs.

In this role you’ll troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, perform preventative maintenance, and help maintain the building exterior.

Qualifications

• 1 year in a maintenance role, troubleshooting and repairing various systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical).
• Hotel or hospitality maintenance experience preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair malfunctioning electrical/mechanical systems and equipment.
• Review maintenance problems, complaints, and work orders to prioritize and schedule work assignments.
• Proactively inspect property to identify potential and current needs.
• Plan and execute ongoing maintenance programs.
• Perform preventative maintenance on a scheduled basis.
• Maintain the building exterior.
• Listen and respond to guests’ maintenance requests.
