Job summary

Hillsdale College seeks a part-time Guest Services staff member for the Dow Center to maintain clean facilities and support guests during events and daily operations.

Responsibilities include housekeeping, front-desk style assistance, event setup, and coordination of AV equipment as needed. A high school diploma and customer service experience are required, with flexibility for weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• This position requires a high school diploma along with two years of customer service and/or hospitality experience.
• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing excellent customer service.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to follow guidelines and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Daily housekeeping of hotel rooms following departmental procedures.
• Maintain a clean entrance and public areas, including restrooms and lobbies.
• Assist with setting up tables and chairs for events in the conference center.
• Maintain and store tools, equipment, and supplies; perform minor maintenance as instructed.
• Knowledge of AV equipment to assist clients as needed.
