Job summary

AHC Hospitality in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a part-time Houseman to support our housekeeping team. Weekend availability is required, with typical hours 9am–5pm.

The role focuses on stocking landings, delivering guest and room-attendant supplies, and maintaining room cleanliness and service standards. You will work closely with room attendants and the laundry team, complete linen inventories, and participate in department tasks to meet budget targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Related experience in housekeeping or hospitality is preferred.
• Reliability and ability to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Stock assigned landings with linens, terry, supplies, and robes.
• Deliver requested items timely to room attendants and guests.
• Strip 50-60 rooms per shift or as assigned.
• Complete cleanliness projects on landings and guest floors as assigned by supervisors.
• Communicate effectively with room attendants and laundry department.
• Perform linen inventory on a quarterly basis.
• Additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
• Weekend work required.
