You will patrol, observe for hazards, investigate incidents, and respond to emergencies, with routine duties including reporting and coordinating with law enforcement when needed.

The role emphasizes customer service, de-escalation, documentation, and teamwork; requires 3–5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice preferred.
• Experience in hospital security, police, EMS or customer service is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to deescalate anxious or stressed individuals.
• Excellent writing and documentation abilities.
• Intermediate computer skills and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas and monitor for unsafe conditions or security issues.
• Investigate thefts and misconduct; notify law enforcement as needed and detain when appropriate.
• Prepare clear written reports; log incidents and update supervisors.
• Dispatch via security systems and coordinate responses to incidents.
• Respond to medical emergencies and assist in restraint when necessary.
• Participate in departmental committees and team initiatives.
